Consultant/Associate – Strategic Sourcing Advisory Group

SSA Capital is currently searching for Strategic Sourcing Consultants/Associates to conduct project work related to SSA Capital’s Strategic Sourcing Advisory Group. Those applying for a position at SSA Capital should have experience or qualifications suitable for working in this area.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, creative, hard-working, articulate, aggressive and bright. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of business experience and a college degree with a strong GPA. Candidates with additional experience will also be considered. The candidate will work closely with an SSA Capital project team and the position will require a significant time commitment with long hours. The candidate will be given a significant amount of responsibility and an opportunity to advance quickly throughout the company, based on results achieved.

Candidates must also be analytical and have basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are also desirable.

SSA Capital Consultants/Associates are expected to conduct activities including data collection and analysis, report writing, document development & revision and other marketing and project support activities. SSA Capital employees will have the opportunity to play a key role in the project team, interface directly with SSA Capital clients and play a significant role in the growth of the organization. In addition, the opportunity to travel either within the United States or to Europe for client projects may exist, depending on project locations and client requirements.

Associate – Private Equity Group

SSA Capital is seeking an entrepreneurial, aggressive, analytical, team player, and problem-solver to help build-out its Private Equity group. The job responsibilities include:

• Management of the firm’s investment banker, broker and private equity partner relationships to source deal flow
• Constant networking, communication and follow-up with attorneys, accounting firms and bank work-out groups
• Identification of proprietary investment opportunities with companies in or nearing bankruptcy
• Analysis of new platform investment opportunities and add-on acquisitions
• Synthesis of data and information to prepare acquisition analysis

We are looking for:

• 3-6 years of experience in investment banking or private equity
• College degree from a leading university
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial attitude
• Detail oriented and analytical
• Team player
